We have had a great start to the new school year. Information has been sent home regarding the discipline ladder and our weekly newsletter. Information regarding upcoming events and instruction in the classroom will be on the newsletters. Students will NOT have a vocabulary and reading test this week. They will have a spelling, social studies, and grammar test. Reading and vocabulary test will start next week. A parent survey is coming home today. Please fill it out and return it as soon as possible. Please make sure to review the code of conduct with your child. I hold my fourth grade students to a high standard and expect limited discipline problems. We are continuing to go over setting, characters, conflict and resolution, and plot. Their first reading test will be on Friday, August 30. They will be able to use their reading notebooks on their reading test. Tests from last week are coming home today. If a student received a D or F the test will need to be signed and returned by Wednesday. Their test for this week will be on Thursday and Friday. Social studies and spelling will be on Thursday and Reading/grammar/vocabulary will be on Friday. Please email me for any questions or concerns.

Please email or send me a message on Remind if you have any questions or concerns. If students make a D or F on a test, it needs to be signed and returned by Friday. Also, if a student is absent they will need to bring in an excuse in order to be able to make up any work.
